HP has announced its launch of touch screen laptops. This is in retaliation to the rumored Apple product Macbook Touch. HP is to join hands with Dell, which already has a tablet PC, Latitude XT with multi touch support. It is same as making a notebook similar to the iPhone but slightly bigger.

Acer Inc is ready to launch its notebook PCs. It hopes to bring in 11.6-, 113-, 14- and 15-inch notebook and Quanta Computer Inc, Inventec Corp. and Wistron Corp are to be its allies in this venture. It is now noticeable that size does matter and that people are once again craving for bigger screens. Acer has noticed this and also plans to ensure them to be lightweight. They hope it to outshine the likes of Dell and HP. Acer has also guaranteed power and cost efficiency.
